France
France is located in the western part of Europe. It is not a very large country land wise. Its about the size of Texas It has a very large population for its size. Its about 64 million people. The official language is French. France has several states that they occupy. The political system of France is a republic and has a bicameral legislature. The executive branch has a President and a Prime Minister. Due to the recent war a lot of the french people do not like the Americans. the reason behind this is because after WWII the countries of the world created the United Nations, in hope to prevent a country with the power and money to do as they please. The United States though has gone against this which has made several countries not like the U.S., and France was one of them. According to Wikipedia "The French armed forces are divided into four branches: Armée de Terre (Army), Marine Nationale (Navy), Armée de l'Air (Air Force), Gendarmerie Nationale (A military force which acts as a National Rural Police and as a Military police for the entire French military)." France is also know for its fashion, its food and landmarks. For example Paris is huge with fashion as well as the Effie tower. They also have the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Louvre. Their national holiday is July 14 which is known as Basilius day. This day is know for the start of the French revolution. The last king and Queen of France were dethroned and punished for the cruelty and for their controlling ways. They were taken from their thrown punished and then beheaded. Wikipedia states that Louis XVI and his wife, Marie Antoinette were beheaded. They would be considered the last king and queen of France.
